Jose Luis Arco Tirado

José L. Arco Tirado is a tenured professor in the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology at the University of Granada, with more than twenty years of teaching and research experience in national and international institutions and research projects.

Before joining the University of Granada she worked at the Provincial Center for Drug Addictions and at the Andalusian School of Public Health. Currently, he teaches three undergraduate subjects (Educational Psychology, Learning Difficulties and Developmental Psychology) in a bilingual group at the Faculty of Education, and coordinates the Practicum on bilingual schools in a Master's program. His research interests focus on different topics such as English as a medium of instruction (EMI), counseling, peer tutoring and mentoring, service-learning, grit, self-regulation, evidence-based programs, and public program evaluation.

He has published several books and articles in nationally and internationally recognized publishers and journals.
